EAT HAPPY stands for fresh, handmade sushi and Asian snacks – ready to enjoy directly from the supermarket. Our products are available in several European countries, primarily under the EAT HAPPY and YUZU brands, including Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

To strengthen our team in Vienna, we are looking for an Accountant (m/f/d) who will independently manage the accounting activities of our Slovak subsidiary.

Your future responsibilities

• Preparing accounting documents and reviewing invoices and delivery notes
• Processing payments
• Creating outgoing invoices
• Optimizing and preparing accounting and administrative processes in compliance with Slovak legislation
• Acting as the main contact person for Slovak suppliers and authorities
• Creating and maintaining internal guidelines and documentation
• Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparing and submitting Intrastat reports
• Ongoing communication with our Slovak subsidiary and external tax advisors

We are looking for someone who has

• A completed commercial or business-related education
• Several years of professional experience in Slovak accounting and/or finance
• Sound knowledge of Slovak accounting and tax regulations
• Very good English, Slovak, and German language skills, both written and spoken
• A structured, independent and responsible way of working
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Good MS Office skills
