Sr. Key Account Manager

As Senior Key Account Manager Austria you are a key player and spearhead of the Austrian own route to market business. With the responsibility of 80% of the markets turnover you have the opportunity to make a big impact, work with an exciting premium brand portfolio and can continue to develop your sales and leadership skills in an agile and high performing organization

Role Responsibilities

  • Support our ambition for growth in the Austrian business, developing sales and channel strategies and delivering vs targets with our off trade and on trade customers
  • Lead, manage and mentor key account manager and one KAM support manager, reporting to Commercial Director Northern Europe (based in Vienna)
  • Lead Off Trade key accounts Spar and Rewe and support team leading the other accounts.
  • Oversee sales planning including forecasting, budgeting and course correction
  • Monitor key metrics to ensure optimal sales performance
  • Review and optimize customer P&Ls and trade investments
  • Refine sales processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with Austrian marketing team, finance and customer service to deliver plans and a strong customer experience.
Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial experience in the Austrian alcoholic beverage or FMCG industry, with a focus on key account management, experience with Rewe and Spar and preferably on trade accounts.
  • 3+ year experience in team management and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and delivering sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen, financial understanding, and the ability to analyze key business drivers and their impact on the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to drive successful outcomes in complex negotiation scenarios.
  • Analytical mindset, leveraging data for decision-making and forecasting market demand.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive market.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in German and English
