Familiarity and experience in quantum technology, space sector, and (optical) communication technology is a great plus. Being part of the Business Development and Sales Team at qtlabs, you will be responsible for our sales activities, including lead generation, bid management, account management and the development of sales strategies and tools.

The Role

Being part of the Business Development and Sales Team at qtlabs, you will be responsible for our sales activities, including lead generation, bid management, account management and the development of sales strategies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead generation
- Commercial bid management
- Account management and customer education
- Market analysis and sales strategies
- Establishment of a customer relationship management tool
- Represent qtlabs at conferences and fairs
- Support product definition
- Educational Background: Degree in technical or natural science discipline with a robust understanding of (optical) communication, optics, and quantum physics.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the field of space, photonic technology, or telecommunication.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to sales, adaptable to new technologies, and skilled in long-term client relationship management.
- High degree of independence and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively
- Diligent handling of bid processes
- Ability to work closely with R&D teams and business development in complex bids and the definition of products
- Fluent in English (German is a plus but not required)
