About the job
In the role of a Sales Manager, you will report to the Head of Sales Steel Central Europe & Ukraine. You will be mainly responsible for maintaining a lucrative relationship with our customer in the Netherlands. While tending to our customer's needs as a primary point of contact, you will obtain orders from existing as well as potential markets. Therefore, it is important that you have a customer-centric attitude supported by a strong technical and commercial background. You should understand the unique demands of our clients and present them with tailor-made solutions. In this position, you will also see through the entire sales process from offer to cash with the support of a qualified team. During work, you will be traveling (inter)nationally approx. 50% of the time.

- Sales forecasting, demand planning & receivables management
- Providing profound technical expertise and detailed application knowledge of customer processes and refractory products
- Financial planning related to rolling forecasts, market pricing conditions, annual business plans, inventory management
- Conducting price and contract negotiations
- Preparing quotes based on pricing strategies in alignment with RHI Magnesita commercial management standards
- Creating development plans of the customer to grow and strengthen the relation

What we expect from you in terms of
Education
- University degree in Metallurgy/Chemistry or similar
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language skills will be considered an asset
- Several years of relevant working experience in sales
- Profound knowledge of the refractory industry is desirable
