British American Tobacco Austria has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager (m/w/d) in Vienna

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at BAT Austria, you will be integral to our trade marketing function, driving the growth of our brands through building long-term partnerships with key clients, maximizing sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is designed to establish and maintain BAT's global position within organized accounts, contributing to the strategic objectives of BAT Austria and is responsible for developing and managing key strategic accounts within the FMCG sector. The KAM will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain, to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with our business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Key Account Strategy: Build key account strategy and BAT`s role to deliver in line with BAT Austria's key focus areas.
  • Portfolio Management: Maintain a strategic assortment overview.
  • Account Planning & Budget Management: Develop and implement account plans to achieve volume and profit objectives. Establish and monitor internal and external budgets.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Measure and analyze BAT and competitors' performance in key accounts. Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to internal stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage contracts and optimize annual negotiation results.
  • Strategic Projects: Initiate and manage strategic projects, challenging the status quo.
  • Data Management: Collect, analyze, and act upon account-related data.
What are we looking for?
  • Education: University degree in Marketing, Business, or Business Information.
  • Strong analytical, systems, and numeracy skills; excellent negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proactive, analytical, and structured; excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills; able to work independently and as part of a team; bold, curious, and resilient, Driving license required
  • Advanced IT Skills: Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint. familiarity with Coupa, SAP, Salesforce, Power BI(Tableau)
