We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager - West to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to our district manager.
Main Purpose of role:
• Overall responsibility for the regional marketing and sales activities in Austria, from a practical as well as operational point of view.
• Covering both Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Devices
• Achieve growth and reach sales targets successfully

Requirements
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to drive product access, build long-term customer relationships, and maximize business opportunities in the field of Gastroenterology. This role is pivotal in driving our market position and collaborating closely with medical, marketing, and market access teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored account strategies for key customers (specialists, clinics, hospitals)
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with gastroenterologists and other stakeholders
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions based on scientific and commercial value
- Drive product performance and meet/exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, and other teams
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategy
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus)
- Experience in a pharmaceutical key account or sales role, ideally with focus on Gastroenterology or specialty care
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare system and decision-making structures (e.g. hospitals, specialist networks)
- Proven track record of building and managing strategic customer relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and strategic thinking
- Fluent in English; [insert local language] is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
