After many successful years in operation, they are now seeking a General Manager to drive business development and expand their footprint in specified but new sectors.

What You Will Do

• Strategic Leadership: You’ll provide direction to align the organization’s goals with long-term strategies focused on enhancing their events and fairs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organization at national and international platforms, forging strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
• Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of trade fairs, ensuring they effectively showcase industry advancements and attract visitors.
• Business Development: Utilize your expertise to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within target sectors.
• Cultural Fit: Your understanding of Middle European culture, along with Turkish and broader Middle Eastern contexts, will be key to fostering relationships and driving success.

Who You Are

• You have a proven track record in managing large-scale B2B events and exhibitions.
• You possess strong cultural awareness and connections within both Turkish and European markets.
• You bring financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and profit and loss management.
• You excel in communication, speaking both Turkish and English fluently (German is a plus).
• You’re adaptable and resilient, thriving in dynamic environments while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• You have a strong business development mindset, eager to explore new avenues for growth.
