As the Assistant Director of Sales (m/f/d) for our Hilton Hotels in Austria, you will play a vital role in driving our business forward. As Assistant Director of Sales (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the development and acquisition of new customers, support your team and take on the following tasks for our Hilton Hotels in Austria:
- Classic key account management and maintenance of the existing customer base
- Acquisition of new customers
- Participation in international trade fairs and sales trips in the specified markets
- Identifying potentials by continuously analyzing the markets and the activities of our competitors, as well as developing measures to exploit these potentials
- Assistance in the creation and implementation of action plans
- Personal and telephone sales calls in the specified markets
- Participation in customer events, in-house promotions and site inspections
- Analyzing and preparing reports and monthly reports
- Induction and training of new employees
- Assistance in the creation and management of the sales budget
- Ongoing review of business plans, recognizing gaps and taking proactive measures to achieve set targets
- Adequate tourism studies and several years of experience in comparable positions
- Experience in leading a team
- A strategic and forward-looking way of working, as well as strong analytical skills to recognize and respond to competitive trends
- A goal-oriented way of working, very good self-organization and excellent time management skills
- You can complete tasks within clear deadlines and set priorities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as an excellent appearance
- You are flexible and open to new challenges, willing to learn & interested in constantly developing yourself further
- You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
- High customer orientation & willingness to provide service
- You want to take on responsibility in the relevant area of responsibility and show a willingness to perform and a high level of self-motivation
- Willingness to travel - at least 30% of your work will consist of international business trips
