Job Description

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible to identify, switch and develop medium and large accounts in their territory. They assume the responsibility within their assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership and will bear full responsibility for building a strategic account plan for their assigned account, as well as for organizing and deploying the appropriate resources within Allergan to drive value co-creation with customers and meet/exceed Allergan quarterly financial targets. The AD will identify and qualify opportunities within its account and deploy growth strategies. The AM will oversee and focus on around 50-60 accounts (current customers and prospects), located in Central Austria (Upper Austria / Styria / Carinthia / Salzburg, Tyrol). Travels across the territory on a daily basis and overnight stays 3 days per month required.

Hunter Customer Mindset
  • Identify and switch medium to large size accounts to AA facial product
  • Develop and maintain understanding of the customer's business model
  • Evaluate and assess customer needs and requirements on an ongoing basis and engage customer in collaborative discussions with cross-functional team members
Product focus
  • Sell and support adoption of Allergan Aesthetics Facial injectables brands.
  • Leverage sales data & marketing resources to identify and convert product sales opportunities.
  • Become a product expert within minimally invasive medical aesthetics treatments through the numerous product trainings.
Strategic focus
  • Lead the development of effective account plans that are realistic, properly resourced, and appropriately sponsored, by both Allergan and the customer.
  • Develop and implement strategies that differentiate Allergan from other providers in our markets
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to ensure that strategic account planning processes and best practices are properly implemented and deployed.
  • Adhere to activity reporting requirements and adopt business intelligence tool.
Execution and Impact
  • Build, execute and monitor strategic account plans that enable customer growth.
  • Assume accountability for keeping account plans up to date, focused, and realistic, as well as for ensuring that tactics are properly executed to drive account growth.
  • Establish realistic priorities for customer projects and initiatives and effectively manage deadlines.
Collaboration & Compliance
  • Collaborate positively with front and back-office roles in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding.
  • Positively challenge the status-quo when it can contribute to improving customer centricity, quality or maintaining a healthy work culture
  • Ensure compliance with Allergan Aesthetics commercial policies in Austria
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to Allergan's code of conduct and standard policies
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Pharma license
  • University Degree or equivalent in life sciences or business
  • At least 3 years of account management experience
  • FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device background
  • Driver's license
  • Previous experience in aesthetics a plus

  • German - Fluent
  • English - Fluent - reading & writing
  • Other European languages can be a plus

  • Advanced use of MS Office Suite
  • Previous experience with CRM systems useful
