Responsibilities

Position Summary

As an Account Manager Austria, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share across your territory within the cardiovascular portfolio. You will build and maintain strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cath lab staff, hospital procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure Cordis solutions are successfully adopted and utilized to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed territory sales targets for the Cordis cardiovascular & endovascular portfolio.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with national sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Promote and support the use of Cordis products through in-depth product knowledge, clinical support, and consultative selling.
  • Organize and support training, product demonstrations, and educational events for healthcare professionals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and stay current with competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Marketing, Professional Education, Clinical, and Customer Service to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; medical or clinical background is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the medical device or medtech industry, ideally in interventional cardiology, radiology, or vascular surgery.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel within Austria.
