Our client is a prestigious international construction company with a strong operational presence in Nigeria. With more than 50 years of industry leadership, the organization is recognized for delivering major, large-scale infrastructure and construction projects across Africa.

We are currently looking for motivated Workshop Supervisor – Earth-Moving Equipment (m/f/x) for this Nigeria-based position.

Your Profile:

  • Qualification: Master Craftsman education completed - in DE/AT this is called "Meisterprüfung", equivalent to EQF (European Qualifications Framework) Level 6
  • Technical Expertise: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics (or equivalent), Certification in Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engineering
  • Hands-on Experience: 5 years of experience with earth-moving equipment maintenance and repair
  • In-Depth Knowledge: Strong grasp of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and power systems
  • Workshop Management: Familiar with workshop workflows, safety, and diagnostics
  • Leadership: Supportive and effective team leader with great communication skills
  • Adaptability: Flexible and solutions-driven in a fast-paced environment, willing to work long hours
  • Language Skills: Confident and fluent in English (C1-level)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge: Take ownership of all repair and maintenance activities for top-tier machinery like CAT, Liebherr, and JCB
  • Empower the team: Allocate tasks, inspire your team, and ensure everything runs in compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Solve challenges: Dive into troubleshooting and fault diagnosis, finding the smartest solutions
  • Ensure excellence: Oversee final inspections, guaranteeing every repair meets the highest standards
  • Drive efficiency: Manage accurate, on-time documentation ensuring smooth workflows
  • Grow talent: Mentor and develop your team, guiding them to reach higher levels of expertise
