Could you be the full-time VIE - Supplier Quality Engineer in Austria we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside a collaborative and dynamic team of professionals who are committed to excellence.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our suppliers' components and processes, directly contributing to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, to manage non-conformities, implement containment actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll specifically take care of non-conformity management and supplier quality improvement initiatives, but also support inspections and oversee top issues dashboards.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our suppliers' components and processes, directly contributing to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, to manage non-conformities, implement containment actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll specifically take care of non-conformity management and supplier quality improvement initiatives, but also support inspections and oversee top issues dashboards.
We'll look to you for:
- Managing Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs), ensuring prompt communication with suppliers, and implementing securitization measures
- Setting up and driving action plans to achieve NCR targets
- Invoicing the Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ S1) to suppliers
- Handling supplier waiver requests and ensuring effective containment actions
- Organizing retrofits and quality wall processes when necessary
- Collaborating with suppliers to enforce corrective and preventive action plans
- Conducting supplier visits, monitoring improvement roadmaps, and ensuring control plan sustainability
- Overseeing inspections for low-critical parts and contributing to Return of Experience (REX) analysis
- Preparing and monitoring supplier quality reviews to address top issues

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
- Knowledge in electrical, mechanical, or metal fields is appreciated
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Collaborative, persuasive, and resilient mindset
- Background in quality management is a plus
