The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.

Start date/duration:

- for 4 years
- Unit of Language Education
- 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed
Your tasks:
- Doctoral thesis in the field of testing and assessment; research (especially dissertation) and participation in research projects in the area of the Language Testing Research Group Innsbruck (LTRGI)
- Independent research-led teaching in language-specific specialised didactics
- Lecturing and publishing activities; involvement in cross-linguistic teaching in the field of language didactics
- Training and further education
- Administrative tasks
- Required qualifications: Completed teacher training programme (diploma/master's degree) in at least one modern foreign language or a degree in applied linguistics; German language skills, if not L1: C1 according to GeR; English language skills: C1 according to GeR; very good IT skills; knowledge of research approaches and research tools in foreign language didactics
- Required: Please enclose a written proposal on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
- Desired: Diploma/Master's thesis in language education; experience in school and university teaching; participation in relevant conferences; relevant experience abroad; basic knowledge of quantitative research methods
- Creative problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, pedagogical and didactic skills
