Systems Engineer

Vienna, Austria

Your responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintenance of their data centre (Linux server, network, VPNs etc.)
• Organisation, monitoring and further development of dispatch technology
• Ongoing optimisation of the overall system and hardware planning
• Patch and backup management, quality assurance
• Further development and testing of their own programmes

Your background and skills:

• Degree in computer science, comparable studies or self-taught know-how
• Extensive network knowledge (TCP, HTTP, SMTP or DNS)
• Several years of professional experience with Linux servers (Redhat, CentOS), automation (Ansible), highly available web servers (Apache, Nginx) and cluster computing (OCFS2, Percona XtraDB) preferable
• Enthusiasm for the job and working on different tasks and reliable team player
• Open personality with strong English language skills (at least B2), German advantageous
