System Engineer -TelCo- in the railroad environment (m,w,d)

Germany / 100% Remote

Your Responsibilities:

• Development of network architectures for international telecommunication projects (GSM-R, LTE, 5G, FRMCS, IMS, SIP-Core)
• Creation of high level design documents (e.g. system description)
• Creation of low level design documents for individual network components
• Creation of traffic models and capacity and availability calculations (e.g. SS7/SIP/IP)
• Coordination of internal experts and external suppliers
• Participation in customer workshops
• Creation of engineering guidelines for new products to be introduced

Your Qualifications:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering / telecommunications (FH/University) or comparable education
• Ideally solid professional career in a similar engineering environment
• Knowledge in the areas of GSM-R/FRMCS, IMS, SIP
• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• German and English language skills in written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
