Job Duties:

• Independent research and active participation in research projects of the institute particularly in the field of group (consolidated) accounting.
• Teaching of courses as well as planning and supervising of exams in the fields of Accounting and Auditing both Bachelor and Master level
• Preperation and updating of teaching materials and examination documents
• Support in the supervision of Bachelor and Master theses
• Support with administrative tasks in the field of teaching

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master's degree with a focus on accounting and/or auditing
• Experience in teaching at the university level in the areas of accounting under the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS, as well as group (consolidated) accounting.
• Good command of English (level B2) and very good command of German (level C1)
• Desirable: Insight into administrative processes and the curricula of courses at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing.
• Willingness and ability to work in a team and to support students and colleagues
