Job Duties:
- Independent research and active participation in research projects of the institute particularly in the field of group (consolidated) accounting.
- Teaching of courses as well as planning and supervising of exams in the fields of Accounting and Auditing both Bachelor and Master level
- Preperation and updating of teaching materials and examination documents
- Support in the supervision of Bachelor and Master theses
- Support with administrative tasks in the field of teaching
- The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master's degree with a focus on accounting and/or auditing
- Experience in teaching at the university level in the areas of accounting under the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS, as well as group (consolidated) accounting.
- Good command of English (level B2) and very good command of German (level C1)
- Desirable: Insight into administrative processes and the curricula of courses at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing.
- Willingness and ability to work in a team and to support students and colleagues
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,776.10 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
