- Outstanding artistic proficiency on the flute and extensive knowledge of low-register flutes
- International concert experience
- Excellent knowledge of notation and performance techniques in contemporary music
- Excellent pedagogical and didactic aptitude
- A completed domestic or equivalent foreign university degree relevant to the position
- Experience as a "performer-composer"
- Relevant teaching experience
- Extensive experience in ensemble conducting
- Planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to collaborate and work well in a team
- Proficiency in German (at least C1)
- Letter of motivation

Role & Responsibilities
- You will supervise students in the core artistic subject, the artistic specialization, and the flute specialization within the artistic and artistic-pedagogical Bachelor's and Master's programs, as well as in teacher training programs, and additionally in relevant supplementary courses in the field of bass flutes
- You will lead courses on notation and performance techniques for new music and conduct ensembles performing contemporary music
In the field of new music, you will develop, organize, and lead artistic projects with our students and engage in interdepartmental collaborations - You are required to participate in academic self-governance
- Hours of employment: 32.75 hours per week, equivalent to 18 teaching hours (81.82% of full-time employment)
- The salary, based on 18 teaching hours per week, is at least €4,231.30 gross per month (depending on prior service). The position is classified in salary group C+ (this corresponds to career track LD 9 of the Upper Austrian Salary Act of 2001).Verfahrensablauf gemäß §27 unserer Satzung:
