- 20 hours per week
Your tasks:
- Independent implementation of courses amounting to 8 semester hours per week and holding examinations in the field of physical geography with a focus on natural hazard research as well as spatial statistics in the studies BSc Geography and MSc Geography: Global Change and Regional Participation in research, teaching and administrative tasks at the Institute of Geography, Sustainability as well as BEd and MEd Geography and Economic Education
- Supervision of theses
- Participation in research, teaching and administrative tasks at the Institute of Geography
- Participation in evaluation measures
- Continuing Education
- Completed doctoral or PhD degree in geography with a focus on physical geography
- Sound theoretical knowledge and practical experience in physical geography, especially in the field of natural hazard research and spatial statistics
- Competence in the use and teaching of modern methods of physical geography
- In addition to proof of the required qualifications, please enclose a teaching concept (description of the didactic and methodological design of your teaching) with your letter of application
- Several years of university teaching experience
- Appropriate publication activity in international peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent knowledge of German and English
- International experience is an advantage
- Independent, team-oriented, organized way of working, high social skills, cooperation and communication skills; Ability to work in a team
