- 30 hours per week
Your tasks:
- Independent teaching of 12 credit hours in the BA and MA programmes in Educational Sciences
- Required teaching areas: history and theories of education, theories and methods of historical educational research, systematics and paradigms of educational science, epistemology, methodology and methods of educational research
- Function as subject counsellor, responsible for course recognition procedures
- Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks in teaching, including course evaluations
- Collaboration in the conceptual reflection on teaching
- Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses
- Participation in research projects in the teaching and research unit "General Educational Science and Historical Educational Research"
- Independent research activities and publications desired
- Completed doctorate/PhD in educational science
- Didactic methodological diversity and thematically relevant/several years of teaching experience at university level (BA and MA) in all types of courses (VO, VU, KU, AG, SE) at domestic and/or foreign universities
- Experience in teaching and research in the field of general educational science and historical educational and social research, especially in (historical) childhood and youth research
- Expertise and experience in the use and further development of digital media in higher education teaching
- A high degree of personal responsibility, organisational skills, communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to cope with a variable workload
- Very good knowledge of German (C1 level), good knowledge of English
- potential for a permanent contract pending the faculty's staff needs and positive performance reviews
