For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.888 per month (14 times) * . is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.

Start date/duration:

- for 4 years, possibility for a permanent position depending on requirement and performance evaluation
- Department of Ecology
- 20 hours per week
Your responsibilities:
- Independent teaching of terrestrial, predominantly organism-oriented courses in Bachelor Biology, Master Ecology and Biodiversity, Master Environmental Management of Mountain Areas and Bachelor and Master Teaching Biology and Environmental Studies (8 semester hours)
- Organisational and administrative activities and (partly co-)supervision of Bachelor's theses
- Collaboration in research projects
- A completed Master's, Magister or Diplom degree in a relevant subject; relevant research experience in terrestrial ecology; competence and experience in teaching courses in the field of terrestrial ecology with a predominantly organismic focus
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Desirable additional qualifications: knowledge of data processing, research and/or teaching experience in the field of biodiversity (mainly alpine, species knowledge), and nature conservation. Good student evaluations are desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team, organisational skills, independence, ability to work under pressure
