For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.857 per month (14 times) * . is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.

Start date/duration:
- from 01.03.2026
- for 4 years, possibility for a permanent position depending on requirement and performance evaluation
- Department of Translation Studies
- 20 hours per week
Your tasks:
- 8 semester hours of independent and research-led teaching in the areas of German-Spanish interpreting, general and specialised translation, if necessary Spanish language training
- Supervision of students, assistance with the organisation of examinations
- Assistance with research and administrative tasks (especially support for committee for public relations and comminication with schools)
- Continuing education
- Diploma or M.A. in translation studies or equivalent with Spanish (language level C2 according to CEFR) and German (language level C2 according to CEFR), preferably in Interpreting
- Desirable: university teaching experience (translators & interpreters training)
- Proof of professional translation and interpreting experience
- innovative teaching methods
- high level of social competence
- Possibility of a permanent position if there is a continuing need and a positive performance assessment
