Job Description:

Your responsibilities:
  • Independently delivering lectures and conducting examinations (8 semester hours) in French language courses
  • Assisting with research, teaching and administrative tasks
  • Supervising students
  • Assisting with administrative and coordination tasks at the department
  • Further training
Your profile:
  • A diploma, state examination or Master degree in French philology/French studies, or a diploma, state examination or Master degree in another field of philology or cultural studies (preferably Romance studies).
  • C2 proficiency in French; knowledge of German (B1); Knowledge of modern theories and methods of foreign language teaching; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team; commitment to the subject and to teaching; ability to deliver courses independently and to supervise students; and willingness to cooperate in the organisation of teaching.
  • Desirable: Independence and strong communication skills; a certificate in FLE (français langue étrangère); experience of university-level teaching in practical French; willingness to address different varieties of French in teaching

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.888 per month (14 times) * . is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
