Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

You will contribute to complex development projects supporting the Internet of Things (IoT) and Energy Transisstion growth initiatives as well as prodevices business by owning all R&D aspects for the electronics HW development.Key responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, specify, develop and validate function-related designs for circuit protection devices based on product standards and customer needs, as well as functional manufacturability & cost targets
- Executing technical design and development tasks independently within distributed teams
- Lead technical design and development tasks independently, including team support for team engineers
- Utilize appropriate tools and methods (simulation, Design for Six Sigma, …) throughout the design cycle and sustaining engineering tasks
- Design, plan, set up, conduct, document, and review development tests
- Secure compliance of electronics HW solutions with standards and regulations in cooperation with testing teams
- Providing and maintaining complete engineering documentation using tools and systems
- Act as mentor for Junior Engineers
- Act as an expert for functional aspects in product technology and provide technical support and guidance to other functions such as Product Management, Quality and Manufacturing
- Resolving electronic HW design issues and delivering optimal solutions wit respect to function, manufacturability and cost
- Engineering Degree, MSc, with specialization in electronics HW development or equivalent education
- 5 or more years of experience and solid knowledge in electronic HW development and design
- Proven experience with voltage/current sensing topologies
- Proven experience with magnetic design, inductors, CM/Diff chokes, current transformators etc..
- Proven experience in analog and digital design
- Proven experience with implementation of embedded microprocessors in design
- Engineer with in-depth experience in design of modules, products and systems
- Proven experience with switching components up to 1kV/100A
- Proven project management skillset
- Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken (business acumen)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ready to lead technical functions in cross-functional and international teams
