As a
corporate startup of ÖBB, our mission is to make the diversity of mobility
throughout Austria easy to use. For this purpose, we have developed a leading
Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform including the app “wegfinder”.
Our native
mobile app combines public transport, shared mobility, and other transportation
options into a single, user-friendly experience. With wegfinder, users can
discover routes, compare transport options, and book tickets, vehicles, and
trips all in one app.
We are
seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master (m/f/x) to guide our two
teams in delivering high-value outcomes through effective agile practices. You
will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of collaboration,
accountability, and continuous improvement while mastering tools like Jira and
leveraging metrics to drive team performance.
Your Job, you...
- facilitate the adoption and execution of Scrum practices, ensuring teams adhere to agile principles and hold team members accountable for their roles within the Scrum framework.
- coach teams on crafting effective user stories, ensuring appropriate size, clarity, and content and foster a collaborative environment to improve team dynamics and delivery.
- schedule and invite team members to Scrum events (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- ensure that retrospective outcomes lead to actionable, goal-oriented improvements, and support the team in following through on them.
- configure Jira boards, quick filters, issue workflows, automations, and plugins (e.g., Tempo) and track sprint velocity and other key metrics provided by Jira.
- ensure tickets are created, updated, and maintained accurately in Jira.
Your Profil, you...
- are experienced as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a fast-paced environment.
- have an understanding of Scrum, agile principles, and user story creation.
- have expertise in Jira configuration and administration (boards, workflows, automations, plugins).
- have strong facilitation and coaching skills, with a focus on team empowerment and accountability.
- are experienced with metrics and BI tools (e.g., EazyBI) to track performance and value delivery.
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- are familiar with estimation techniques like Scrum Poker and retrospective moderation.
- Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM) or Agile Coaching (e.g., ICP-ACC) is a plus.
Our Offer
- We follow a hybrid work model, spending some time in the office but primarily working from home.
- Our modern office is conveniently located at walking distance from Wien Hauptbahnhof (S-Bahn, U1, 13A, Tram D).
- You will receive a smartphone and notebook (MacBook) for both work and personal use.
- Monthly €50 mobility budget for private use in the wegfinder app.
- Very pleasant working atmosphere in an international team.
- For this full-time position (38.5 hours per week), the monthly minimum salary, as per the collective agreement (travel agency), is established at €2.247,- gross (14x annually). Don’t worry, your actual salary will be individually negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.
