To strengthen our Immunology team in Austria, we are looking for a passionate Regional Lead HS (Hidradenitis suppurativa) (m/f/d).

About the Role

In this field based role you will independently implement tailored strategies within the assigned ecosystem. The Regional HS Lead will significantly contribute to the development and adaptation of these strategies and be responsible for achieving strategic goals such as:
  • Managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and developing projects in the hidradenitis suppurativa/acne inversa indication.
  • Building networks and long-term relationships with various stakeholders in the HS ecosystem - in dermatology and other specialties.
  • Executing agreed strategies through analytical identification of barriers and opportunities along the patient journey.
  • Developing clear action plans to reach this goal, with sales metrics as central KPIs
Who You Will Work With

In this field based role you are acting as a central link between Sales, Marketing, and Medical, aligning core strategies with the Head of Immunology and the Sales & Solution Lead, and deriving implementation plans from these strategies. And work with Internal & external stakeholders (KOL's/HCP's/ patient groups etc).

What You Will Work On
  • Motivating, inclusive, and cross-functional working style to enable shared accountability among all team members.
  • Analytically identifying barriers and opportunities and developing clear action plans to overcome barriers and leverage opportunities.
  • Support the Sales Team with cross-functional account planning.
  • Developing multidisciplinary engagement plans including event planning with a dedicated budget that align with strategies and priorities derived from key insights and the conditions of the HS market. You will consider both short-term and long-term goals in plans development.
  • Advancing the development of materials with Marketing.
  • Contributing to the development of disease awareness among external stakeholders, based on the requirements and needs of patients.
By continuously advancing and developing disease awareness, you will significantly contribute to meeting the needs of patients.

Interested? For this position, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
  • Completed training as a certified pharmaceutical representative and experience in scientific product differentiation with +5 years of experience in a similar role or KAM role and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in Marketing and/or business development roles would be an asset.
  • High professional level German & English mandatory, and willing to travel across Austria
  • Motivating, integrative, and cross-functional working style.
  • Knowledge of the dermatology market, especially the HS market, including patient flows and the therapy environment, particularly biological therapies.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on creating value for patients, doctors, and UCB.
  • Results driven, but also diplomatically skilled
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic interpretation of sales performance.
