Quality Control Specialist (m/f/d)

As an international company our client committed to excellence, we ensure the highest standards for our products and processes. To strengthen our quality team, we are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist (m/f/d). In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our quality standards, working closely with international suppliers and internal teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Incoming Inspection: Execute thorough incoming inspections, including visual, dimensional, and functional testing to guarantee the highest quality of incoming parts and materials.

• Supplier Management: Act as a key point of contact for suppliers regarding quality standards. Address non-conformities and handle quality issues firmly yet professionally.

• Defect Classification: Review components and classify defects accurately based on severity (cosmetic vs. functional vs. safety-critical).

• Technical Evaluation: Analyze mechanical and electrical components, read and interpret technical drawings, and assess compliance based on defined specifications.

Your Profile

Technical Requirements:

• Education: Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable technical field.

• Experience: Experience in the medical device industry is a plus, but not mandatory. Backgrounds in Automotive or Electronics Quality Control with transferable skills are highly welcome.

• Regulatory & Process Knowledge: Good awareness of ISO 13485 (or a strong foundation in ISO 9001) as well as familiarity with incoming inspection standards.

• Technical Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings (no creation required).

  • Basic electrical knowledge (e.g., battery voltage, polarity, short-circuit recognition).

  • Clear understanding of mechanical assembly (torque specs, thread types, fastener identification).

Language Requirements:

• English: Minimum B1 level (solid communication skills).

• Italian: A strong "Nice to Have" (B2)

• A strong self-starter who works well independently and feels comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.
