About Sappi

With more than 400 years of experience in papermaking, Sappi Gratkorn develops and produces high-quality, multi-coated paper using the latest technologies.

We are looking for a Project Engineer Electric/Automation (m/w/d) for our Central Technology and Engineering department.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the development and execution of projects under consideration of business cases technical and technological concepts
  • Negotiations with suppliers and contract partners
  • Performs the planning of the activities according to the scope of supply and services
  • Responsible for creating and tracking the schedule
  • Responsible for budget allocation, ongoing cost controlling, contract and claim management, risk analysis and reporting
  • Leading an international project team
Required qualifications:

  • Completed technical education with a focus on automation and electric plant engineering, respectively qualification on advanced technical school for applied science with relevant experience
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as a project manager, ideally in a global corporate environment
  • Knowledge of technical regulations, experience with technological processes in the pulp&paper industry and automation/electric in general
  • Fluent English and German spoken and written, other foreign languages are an advantage
  • Communication strength and intercultural competence
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility
  • Independent well-structured working method, self- responsibility, and cooperativeness for teamwork
  • Self-initiative and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong negotiating and leadership skills
Location:

This job is located in Gratkorn.

Traveling:

Occasionally, it is sometimes necessary to travel to the group's locations.

On-site & flexible

This position delivers main impact on-site however you have the possibility to occasionally work from home.
