The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing production activities across Glatz International's manufacturing and supply chain network. The role ensures on-time availability of products, efficient use of resources, and alignment between production capacity, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate closely with operations, procurement, logistics, and quality teams in Austria and Hungary.

- Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules based on sales forecasts, material availability, and capacity planning.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow and avoid bottlenecks.
- Monitor daily production progress and adjust plans to respond to delays or changing priorities.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels, minimizing excess or shortages.
- Analyze production performance and prepare regular reports on KPIs, capacity utilization, and efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting lean manufacturing and process optimization.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align production timelines with customer delivery requirements.
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and ERP system updates related to production data.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in production or supply planning, ideally in the food, commodities, or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
