We are seeking a highly motivated engineering student to join our team at our location in Vienna in the department Grid Stability for a 6-month part-time position (15-20 hours/week).

Engineering & Design:
We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 2.553,12 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.

YOUR PROFILE
- Ongoing studies in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar)
- Strong interest in digital tools and AI (Copilot)
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D) or equivalent
- Strong capability to structure data and understand cost relationships
- High proficiency in Excel
- Electrotechnical background (courses, specialization or practical experience)
- Knowledge of rotating electrical machines (generators, motors, etc.)
- Interest in power systems or industrial engineering
- First experience with data analysis or automation
Engineering & Design:
- Support preparation of 2D/3D layouts and drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools
- Assist in development of engineering concepts and technical documentation
- Contribute to interdisciplinary coordination
- Structure and maintain engineering datasets (BOMs, cost breakdowns, technical lists)
- Translate technical input into clear and traceable cost structures
- Ensure consistency between engineering scope and commercial data
- Apply strong structuring principles to enable efficient reuse and transparency
- Apply and further develop Copilot prompt engineering for document generation, specification analysis, and structured data extraction
- Support automation of engineering workflows and documentation
- Integrate Copilot outputs into structured datasets (Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
- Assist with technical and commercial documentation
- Support project tracking, reporting, and data management
- Interface with internal teams for data collection and clarification
