Key Responsibilities:
- Menu & Kitchen Management: Lead the creation of innovative, shareable dishes using seasonal, local ingredients. Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to Chef Eyal's creative vision. Manage all hotel-related F&B services, including events and breakfast, while maintaining top-quality standards.
- Quality Control & Cost Management: Ensure high standards in taste, quality, and presentation. Regularly inspect for health, safety, and hygiene compliance. Monitor food costs, optimize inventory, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain premium quality and competitive pricing.
- Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and lead the kitchen team by fostering a positive, collaborative environment. Conduct training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to maintain operational excellence. Manage recruitment to align new hires with the restaurant's culture and standards.
- Guest Interaction & Service Coordination: Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure exceptional dining experiences. Collaborate with the front-of-house team for seamless service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving & Additional Tasks: Approach operational challenges with creativity and efficiency. Ensure timely resolution of any maintenance issues and uphold company values, including grooming standards and proper handling of deliveries following FIFO principles.
- Communication & Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and work closely with Max Brown 7th District Hotel and F&B management to enhance operations and guest satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role, with a strong background in culinary leadership.
- Exceptional dedication, commitment, and discipline, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop your kitchen team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage the dynamic needs of a high-performing kitchen.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Passionate about continuous learning and staying ahead of culinary trends.
