Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design cross-functional end-to-end process enforcing organization-wide consistency and standardization of the process
  • Integrate requirements from all process participants including business/functional units and ensure best-possible process from an overarching company perspective
  • Establish transparency on responsibilities of each function / unit for the full end-to-end process and ensure documentation is up to date
  • Define and monitor KPIs for end-to-end execution across functions and units for desired process outcome and performance by coordinating all process steps end-to-end
  • Regional GloBuS Regional Service Centres in Tokyo, Munich/Lisbon and Basking Ridge (~10%)
Professional experience & education:

  • Degree in relevant field (e.g., business or operations management), master's degree preferred
  • CPA or advanced certifications in process management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma or Business Process Modelling and Notation)
  • 5-6 years of experience in a management position with or without disciplinary authority
  • Sound knowledge of finance processes, in particular procurement, accounting and invoice processing
  • Implemented technology-enabled solutions to support process improvements
  • Demonstrable experience in driving efficiency, enhancing processes, and strengthening policies at a strategic level, ensuring that operational practices are robust and future-proof
  • Experience in effectively partnering with teams specializing in RPA, AI and ML implementations
  • Previously shown flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
  • Experience improving processes through standardization, harmonisation and automation
  • Proven track record of driving cost avoidance, cost reduction and value engineering initiatives that align to enterprise goals and develop operational excellence

  • Strategic thinking and planning: Ability to effectively prioritize process enhancements in sync with enterprise goals, foreseeing business model evolution and enabling complementary initiatives
  • Problem solving and analytics: Expertise in analyzing complex issues, identifying solutions and implementing innovative changes using technology and industry best practices to drive improvement
  • Process design and improvement: Able to quickly gain an expert understanding of process performance, controls and customer needs to inform improvements. Ability to collaboratively work with various solution teams to execute changes using process management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
  • Relationship building and communication: Exceptional interpersonal, multicultural and collaboration skills to be proactive in building strong relationships (including with senior stakeholders) and influencing change across the organization
  • Change management expertise: Able to evaluate organizational capacity for change, design tailored strategies and collaborate with business stakeholders through influencing and service delivery teams through factual persuasion skills to facilitate seamless implementation.
  • Impact to the organisation: Influences decisions through advice, counseling or facilitating to others in area of specialization and explains complex information to build consensus in challenging situations
