ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales director to lead the regional sales team looking after our existing customer base across Europe. This role is focused on the mid market segment.
This leader will be responsible for maximizing customer lifetime value through cross-sell, upsell, and renewal initiatives. The role demands strong leadership in account planning, value realization, and managing customer relationships across multiple industries such as automotive and manufacturing where transportation and supply chain management are key to success.

The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen with operational excellence and has proven experience in managing and coaching a high-performing account management teams in a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Growth & Retention
  • Drive revenue growth from existing customers through upsell, cross-sell, and expansion into new business units or geographies.
  • Ensure high renewal rates and customer satisfaction by delivering measurable value through our solutions and minimize potential churn.
  • Partner closely with our NetNew sales team and Professional Services to ensure full customer value realization.
Strategic Account Management
  • Develop and execute account plans for key customers, focusing on growth potential, stakeholder mapping, and long-term partnership.
  • Build executive-level relationships (COO, CIO, VP Supply Chain) to strengthen strategic alignment and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead business reviews to demonstrate ROI and strategic impact.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of regional account managers focused on revenue retention and growth.
  • Work with clear KPIs and a performance-driven culture grounded in collaboration and customer centricity.
  • Optimize and expand the team set up as we transition to a customer centric CRO organisation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product to identify expansion opportunities and deliver targeted growth campaigns.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to ensure accurate forecasting and predictable revenue performance.
  • Support customer advocacy initiatives, references, and case studies to strengthen our market position.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS account management, ideally within supply chain, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Track record of exceeding renewal and expansion targets across mid market portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of complex buying centers and multi-stakeholder account management.
  • Experience leading international account management teams across multiple countries.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with strong business acumen and commercial judgment.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to build high-performing, customer-focused teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS value realization and ROI-based selling.
  • Financial and analytical skills to support pricing, renewals, and complex deal structures.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
