Database Administrator (f/m/d)

100% Remote in Germany or On-site in Bad Nauheim

Your Role:

• Administration, installation, monitoring and further development of the company’s database environments at their client’s.
• Develop, implement and test strategies for lifecycle projects and responsible for the rollout of patches and upgrades.
• Secure operation of the database environments and take preventive measures to avoid and eliminate malfunctions.
• Create, manage, test and maintain back-up systems as well as testing and recovery procedures.
• Advise software developers on database questions and support with performance tuning of the company’s applications.

What you bring to the table:

• Completed training as an IT specialist or completed studies in computer science.
• Experience with the administration of Oracle databases, knowledge of PostgreSQL databases are of advantage.
• Ideally experience with the installation and administration of Linux.
• Fluent English skills and German skills (at least B1)
• Highly independent and structured work as well as the ability to work in a team.
• You are curious, a team player, flexible and motivated.
