As the IT of the REWE Group International, we work together with our more than 500 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade. Supported by 3 product teams, you will lead the IT product family HR Solutions, with the aim of providing our operational business units a modular, efficient application landscape that is seamless suited to digital first HR processes and HR workflows in stores, warehouses and headquarters.


  • Responsible for the strategic orientation of the "HR Solutions" product family
  • Build a strong partnership with the HR organization
  • Supervisory management of product teams, product owners and technical experts
  • Development and consolidation of the roadmap in cooperation with product owners and in consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Controlling the execution of the technology solutions roadmap for all platforms and services within the HR IT Landscape
  • Structuring the portfolio and controlling the resources in the product family
  • Creation of clear orders, agreement of common goals and prioritizations with the business
  • Support and promotion of product owners
  • Sustainable and future-oriented improvement of processes and workflows


  • Specific knowledge of HR Solutions, HR Capabilities, HR processes and HR tools in the retail sector
  • Profound knowledge of HR administration and payroll accounting capabilities and processes, applicant & onboarding platforms as well as employee retention methods and platforms, strongly accompanied and supported by HR BI & Analytics
  • Successfully completed studies (business administration, business informatics, computer science, etc.) or comparable education
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience and management experience
  • Experience in leading corporate and team development with economic, sustainable added value
  • Very good presentation and moderation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Customer orientation as well as the ability to promote cooperation and self-guidance
