With six production sites worldwide, four decoration sites and around 3,350 employees, the family-owned company has more than 200 years of successful glassmaking history.Group Accounting ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance, and transparency at the holding level. As Group Accountant, you are responsible for the accounting of four holding entities, including the Group Management company. You ensure reliable financial statements, compliant tax handling, and transparent cost center reporting while supporting structured recharging processes within the Group.
This newly created position reports directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to actively shape and further develop structures, processes, and standards within Group Accounting while working in close collaboration with executive management.
Your main responsibilities
- Independent handling of end-to-end accounting (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, asset accounting, bank postings) for 4 holding companies.
- Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with Austrian UGB and monthly management reporting, including accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Preparation and coordination of VAT returns and support in corporate income tax matters in cooperation with external advisors.
- Preparation of structured cost center reports for the Group Management company.
- Execution and further development of intercompany recharging processes, including transfer pricing documentation.
- Coordination and reconciliation of intercompany balances across group entities.
- Main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities in accounting-related matters.

Your profile
- Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or equivalent commercial education with a focus on accounting.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Austrian UGB and Austrian tax law.
- Mandatory experience with BMD.
- Experience in group consolidation.
- Strong understanding of cost center accounting and intercompany processes.
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
- High level of initiative with the ability to drive topics independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resilience and openness to change in a dynamic environment.
- Fluent English and German skills.

The annual gross salary is €75,000, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on qualifications and experience.
