As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for implementing automation solutions in standard products as well as for custom solutions for our clients.

Job Description
  • Designing and independently implementing automation solutions
  • PLC programming and developing control concepts for automation solutions
  • Developing and improving standardized PLC modules
  • Performing FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test)
  • Remote maintenance of devices after delivery and troubleshooting
  • Close communication with clients and internal departments
  • Commissioning systems at the Wolfsberg facility in Carinthia and on client sites
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology
  • Solid expertise and relevant professional experience in PLC programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
  • Strong proficiency in programming with structured text languages (e.g., SCL)
  • High problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work
  • Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 30%)

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade - adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3,400 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That's why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
